Location ⁚ Odessa, TX
Role Type ⁚ Hourly (non-exempt)
Requirements ⁚ Valid CDL (Class A or B based on assigned equipment)—————————————————————————————
Position Overview⁚
The Customer Delivery Specialist is the final and most visible step of the customer experience. This role combines professional CDL driving with hands-on service. It goes beyond moving a trailer from point A to point B — this person represents Nationwide Trailers at job sites, businesses, and homes where customers often have never visited a store or met their sales consultant face-to-face. The role ensures each delivery is safe, on time, and supported with a quick walkthrough so the customer knows how to use their trailer confidently. Drivers operate company-provided trucks (e.g., Ford Super Duty class) and use internal scheduling and communication tools to manage routes and communicate updates.

compliance with CDL and DOT requirements.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer
combinations.
- Secure loads properly and verify all delivery documentation is
accurate.
Customer Experience and On-Site Support
- Represent Nationwide Trailers professionally at every delivery.
- Walk customers through basic trailer operation: hitching, jack
use, safety chains, breakaway system, loading best practices, tie-down points, and door operation.
- Confirm the trailer meets expectations, elevating concerns to
store leadership if needed.
- Capture delivery photos and proof-of-delivery documentation
using company apps.
Communication and Coordination
- Use company scheduling and communication tools to receive
routes, update statuses, and log delivery information.
- Communicate proactively with customers, sales consultants,
and store leaders to ensure smooth handoffs.
- Document delivery notes to support follow-up, service needs, or
warranty requests.
Operational Support
- Assist with moving trailers around the lot or transporting units
between stores when requested.
