Landscape Trailers for Sale
Monday morning the mowers roll up the gate, the trimmers lock into the rack, and the whole shop rides behind the truck until the route is done. That's the job a landscape trailer is built around — 163 landscaping trailers in stock across 14 stores, priced $3,249 to $8,099.
What are you hauling?
6x12 to 7x14 with a rack up front.
7x16 tandem axle — the gate drops once and both machines roll off in a single pass.
Tall mesh sides hold the pile a flat deck loses over the rail.
A plain open deck does that work for less.
Loose heavy material should unload itself, not by shovel.
That's a heavier deck with ramps.
What makes it a landscape trailer and not a utility trailer?
Three pieces of hardware, and a working crew touches all three every day. The sides come first: tall mesh walls instead of a low rail, so a heaped load of brush or mulch stays put at highway speed while the wind blows through instead of dragging. Second is the front of the deck — a bulkhead where trimmer and blower racks mount, so the string trimmer rides locked upright instead of sliding around under a mower. Third is the gate, and it matters more than it looks: a mowing route drops that gate at every stop, dozens of times a week, so the hinges and the spring assist are doing crew work, not Saturday work. If your trailer will mostly see one mower and household loads, the boundary is simple — a utility trailer covers general hauling for less money, and we stock plenty of those too. On this page, Texas Bragg builds most of what's on the ground (122 of 163 right now), with X-ON, Sun Country Trailers filling out the rows.
What size does the crew need?
Count mowers, then count deck. A 60-inch zero-turn plus a push mower and hand tools works out of a 6x12 or 7x14; two zero-turns want the length of a 7x16 so the second machine isn't parked against the gate. Buy the deck for the biggest Tuesday of the year — the trailer that barely fits today's equipment is too small the day you add a machine. On weight, most of this category rates between 7,000 and 10,000 lbs GVWR, with a lighter group under 7,000 for solo operators and a handful rated up to 12,000. The truck conversation is short here, because the crew already owns the truck: every landscape trailer we stock is a bumper pull, and a properly equipped half-ton work truck handles most of the category loaded. Once the rating clears 7,000 lbs the trailer carries electric brakes — budget for a brake controller in the cab and read the tow rating off your door-jamb sticker before you pick a size.
What does a landscape trailer cost — and what does it earn back?
Landscape trailers price from $3,249 to $8,099 here, and crews mostly buy from the middle of that window. For a working crew, the sticker is the wrong unit of measure. Price it in yards: take what your average stop pays, count the stops on a week's route, and figure how many weeks of mowing cover the trailer. Run that math before you walk the lot and the size question usually answers the money question — the trailer that carries the second mower is the one that carries the second crew's revenue. Financing and rent-to-own are both available, with nothing about the cost left to discover later. Rent-to-own exists for exactly the operator the banks make wait — a first-season business without two years of books. Ask the store which route costs less over the life of the deal; if cash covers it, cash is the cheapest trailer.
A broken trailer stops the whole route
When a wheel bearing lets go in June, it doesn't cost you a trailer — it costs you every yard on the schedule until it's fixed. That's why where you buy matters as much as what. Our 14 stores across Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri & Arizona keep parts counters stocked with the pieces that wear on a working trailer — bearings, lights, gate hardware, tires — and service bays across the network handle the jobs you'd rather not lose a morning to. Oklahoma City, Odessa, and Houston carry the heaviest landscape stock right now, with solid rows in Van Alstyne, Fort Worth, Pasadena, and St. Louis; the store links below go straight to each lot's landscape stock. If the size you want isn't on the nearest lot, call (866) 606-7477 — the size missing from your lot is usually sitting on another one, and we can tell you which.
