Common questions

Trailer Brake Repair FAQs

Why aren't my trailer brakes working?

The most common causes are worn magnets, a bad ground or broken brake wire, a failed breakaway switch, or a controller mismatch. We diagnose the electric or hydraulic system and quote the fix flat-rate.

Do you convert electric brakes to electric-over-hydraulic (EOH)?

Yes, we do full electric-to-EOH drum and disc conversions, plus EOH actuator, flex-hose and hard-line service, common on heavier gooseneck trailers.

Can you service disc brakes on my trailer?

We replace disc pads, calipers, rotors and caliper brackets, and bleed hydraulic disc systems, all at flat-rate labor.
