Flatbed Trailers for Sale
Every flatbed trailer for sale across our 14 stores is on this page. That's 387 open decks right now, priced $0 to $31,099. Start with the load, not the trailer. Or call (866) 606-7477, tell us what you're hauling, and we'll point you at the right deck.
What does a flatbed trailer cost?
Three things set the price of a flatbed: deck length, axle rating, and the hitch. Together they stretch the range from $0 to $31,099. The bulk of the stock is priced through the middle.
A tandem-axle bumper pull at 14,000 lb GVWR sits at the low end. A long triple-axle gooseneck rated over 20,000 lb is the top of it. Tell us what you haul and how often, and we'll walk you to the band that fits. If the deck only works a few weekends a year, we'll point you at the smallest one that does the job. If it hauls for a business, hold the price against what a rented deck costs you now.
Financing and rent-to-own are written at every store. The terms come in whole dollars over the life of the note. You'll know the total before you sign, not just the payment.
The listed number is the deck's cash price. Tax, title, and the doc fee get added on top, and all three depend on your state. Ask the store to run your out-the-door total, and you'll have one number to work with.
What size flatbed do you need?
Size the deck to the longest load you haul regularly. Sixteen-foot lumber rides flat on a 20-ft deck, with room to hook a strap at both ends. A 25-ft deck lines up five 5-ft round bales nose to tail. At roughly 1,200 lb a bale, that row weighs about 6,000 lb. That sits comfortably inside a 14,000-lb trailer's payload.
Measure the whole rig, not just the machine. If the tractor travels with a box blade pinned to the three-point, run the tape over the hitched length. That combined number is what has to fit the deck. Bring it to us and we'll show you the decks that carry it.
Anything that drives on under its own power wants a dovetail with slide-in ramps. The dovetail drops the climb angle so a low front axle clears it. If a forklift does your loading, a straight deck gives you more flat space for the money. Tell us how your loads get on and we'll show you both.
Flatbed, deckover, equipment, or car hauler: which is your trailer?
Four names, four jobs. Here's the short version. A flatbed carries its bed between the wheels, with fenders over the tires. It rides lower than a deckover, and only a lowboy sits lower still. That low open deck is what makes side loading simple. A deckover lifts the deck above the wheels, so it's full width corner to corner. That story lives on our deckover trailers page. An equipment trailer is the heavier-built machine hauler, and skid steers and excavators are its whole job. See equipment trailers. A car hauler is the light, low version, sized for vehicle tires and ramps. See car haulers.
Lumber, pipe, hay, pallets, or a tractor and its implements? You're on the right page. If your list looks like one of the other three, those links land you where the stock is.

Both. The grid above filters by hitch type.

It depends. The line to watch is a trailer rated over 10,000 lb inside a combination rated 26,001 lb or more. Texas handles personal towing past that line with its upgraded non-CDL Class A rather than a CDL. Plenty of flatbeds carry ratings over 10,000 lb, so give us your truck and we'll run the pair with you before you buy.
Yes. We offer standard financing and rent-to-own at every store. The note gets written in whole dollars, start to finish. Tell us the budget and we'll fit the deck to it rather than stretch you to the deck.
Delivery is on the table for most units. What it costs depends on where you are. Give us the stock number and a zip code, and you'll have a number before you hang up.
You can, and a car hauler does it better: lower deck, ramps sized for a car, and fenders that clear an open door. If the trailer will mostly move vehicles, start on our car haulers page.
The last few feet of the deck angle down toward the ground, so driven-on loads climb a gentler slope. If your loads roll on (tractor, lift, mower), get it. If a forklift does the loading, a straight deck gives you more flat space.
Flatbed width depends on whether the deck sits between the wheels or above them and on the trailer’s intended load. Check both usable deck width and overall outside width, especially when carrying wide equipment or entering gates, job sites, and storage areas. Each live unit should be matched by its exact dimensions.
Flatbed trailers are sold in multiple deck lengths, and overall length is longer than the usable deck because of the tongue or gooseneck. Choose length from the equipment footprint and weight distribution you need, then verify that the tow vehicle, turning clearance, and storage location can handle the complete trailer.
Flatbed empty weight changes with deck length and width, frame material, axle rating, suspension, ramps, and gooseneck or bumper-pull construction. Use the exact manufacturer specification or VIN label and calculate payload from GVWR minus empty weight instead of estimating from deck size.
